Altdeutsche Schaenke in Greven

Even after several visits, I am very satisfied.

I like such quaint old restaurants and pubs. The Altdeutsche Schänke is quaint through and through and invites you to linger. But to make it short, why only 3 stars would be given here: the price / performance ratio is unspeakably bad. Roulade, cordon bleu and tongue were served. The prices are lavish: € 20 for the roulade, € 18 for the cordon bleu and almost € 25 for the tongue. But what was then served leaves one amazed. The portions were so small that I thought it was a joke at first. The portion size is just cheeky for the price called out. In other restaurants this is a senior plate and costs significantly less. That was the opinion of all my companions that evening. You have to credit the excellent taste. There is absolutely nothing to complain about here. The bottom line is that the price / performance ratio has disappointed me enormously and unfortunately won't let me come back.

Ate delicious schnitzel there. French fries. Very good u. crispy. Unfortunately no salad with it, but plenty of peas.

Nice friendly service. Bacon pancakes and pancakes with plums, cinnamon, and sugar were delicious.

Unfortunately only 5 stars go, otherwise I would give more stars. A great tavern delicious food, wonderful inside and out we will come more often and the way is just great there

Good food, but still poor value for money. Strawberries with a vanilla ice cream ball € 8.00. Steak, "supposedly 300 grams, but not bigger than the" normal steak, 37.00 euros. Eat well, but unfortunately do not do that again. Only three of us had steak. 7 people, including drinks = € 271.00 without tip.

A cozy, rustic, traditional Westphalian restaurant with fine cuisine of exceptional quality. 4 steaks and all of them with exactly the desired cooking point. Fantastic creme brullée and very good chocolate mousse. A recommendation

Great food, we were here yesterday (29.12.2019) and the food was sooooo great, and had this old German style that the restaurant is supposed to represent. Really well done!

Delicious food and the dessert was a hit

rustic from the inside many seats owner with Münsterland cool friendliness schnitzel with chips finally fried in butter or butter lard rumpsteak fried on the spot as desired delicious fried potatoes pancake with apples as a dessert obviously homemade. top desser grunted as a dessert.super Wine selection manageable but good

Very friendly atmosphere, really makes you feel at home. Excellent food at a modest price. Really good value for money. Frequently new creations which are a treat to the palatte. Will deffiniteky come back.
